The Alpine Loop

Mike and I had never gone on the Alpine Loop so it was extra exciting. Fall is our favorite time of the year and lately it hasn't been feeling at all like fall until we took this drive. It made me crave anything pumpkin lucky for me my mother in-law had costco pumpkin pie for us! Jane was a little trooper getting in and out of the car and taking those sharp turns like a champ without spitting up.

Also Jane went to the doctors on Friday and she is 9.5 lbs. and 21 inches long. She is definitely chunking out. We couldn't believe how she put on the weight so fast, it makes me so sad she is changing so fast but she is is a good snuggler and let's just hope that's the one thing that doesn't change.

Sunday Afternoon with Baby Jane

This one was Jane before she went to her first football game to see her dad referee. I hate to admit it but whenever football is on the T.V. Jane gives her attention to the game... she didn't get her love for football from her mom.

I'm a little late but... Happy Birthday

The big 25! Happy birthday to this handsome man! He got a shot gun for his birthday, apparently he needed something to protect his little girl. I love this guy, he is my best friend, and a pretty darn good dad.

Jane dressed up for her Daddy's birthday...her dress is actually a shirt but whatever works right?
These are just random but pretty cute. Grandma put Jane is her bassinet with this book and she just sat and starred at it for ten minutes. We thought it was so funny her little studious oh really expression.

Nap Time

Baby J. seems to always be sleeping it's her #1 thing to do these days besides getting lots and lots of kisses from mommy & daddy. Today she was especially exhausted after a good poop & pee session. I'm having a hard time knowing she isn't going to stay this little forever. I just love everything about this girl, thank goodness for pictures.

Jane Olivia Rees

Our little Jane came to us August 13, 2010 and we couldn't be more in love with this little girl.
Pregnancy = Long
Labor = A Breeze
Motherhood = The best thing in the whole world!
Life with our little Jane just keeps getting better and better!

It was a bust.

So my change of scenery lasted oh about 4 days and then back to the hospital we go. We at least made it to the fireworks. I was so excited to share that with Mike because it is one of my favorite childhood memories. Going out on the boat and the fireworks going off right above our heads and feeling like they are going to fall right on you, I love it! So I guess it wasn't a complete bust but, the weather was awfully nice the day we went in and that made me not go so willingly. I do have good news I get to go to the first hour of church, and I can start getting up a little more. That means I get to take the sacrament, walk to the pool, get my own water, and shower more. At 35 weeks Doc says I get to be a normal pregnant lady... two more weeks! I cannot wait, my ribs are bruised and my legs turn purple when I walk, two weeks have never sounded so short and glorious to me!
Carter shared my same love for the fireworks, he obviously shares my same love for chocolate, hence his chocolate mustache.

33 wks... I didn't think I would make it this long to get this large, and to think I only get larger from here on out.

Something to CeLeBrAtE

The weather has been really nice so my Dad finally opened the pool and this little boy couldn't be happier. Most of the time he somehow gets out wearing his swimmer, but nobody is complaining about seeing these cute buns!

Mike is apparently really talented, he can launch a child in the air and give the thumbs up to the camera at the same time.
The other thing we celebrated this week is making it to 30 weeks! I love going to the Doctors because I get to get out of the house and feel normal for a few hours. Also today I realized Mike and I have gained about the same amount of weight throughout this pregnancy... his isn't as noticeable but it makes me feel good that I will have an exercise buddy once this little gal comes out my belly.
The doctor said I can change the location of my bed resting to our lake cabin next week. I'm so so so excited, even though I will be doing the exact same thing and I won't be able to tube, wakeboard, or really any of the usual lake activities. However, I will be able to watch my family from afar and that is pretty exciting to a girl who gets up to pee every twenty minutes and then returns to the same old bed to watch TV or Read. So wish me luck in my new location!
